Mid-day Mountain Music with Scott Freeman and friends at the Blue Ridge Music Center Scott Freeman grew up in Mt. Airy, N.C., playing bluegrass and gospel music with his brothers. He plays, arranges and writes songs, which have been recorded by some of the top touring bands in bluegrass music. He teaches fiddle and mandolin and entertains in the breezeway from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. every Thursday with a variety of his top-flight musician friends. Admission is free.
