The Ashe County Friends of Agriculture will sponsor an Open Horse Show on Saturday, May 17, 2008 at the Ashe County Ag Expo grounds on Hwy 163 in West Jefferson, NC. Registration opens at 10 am and the show begins at 11 am. There are 30 classes, including gaited, mule, western pleasure, halter, lead line, costume and gaming classes. Youth participants must wear a helmet. A negative coggins is required for each horse.
