APPALACHIAN SONGSMITHS: Larry Cordle & Lonesome Standard Time / Lorraine Jordan & Carolina Road - Most well-known for his hit song “Murder on Music Row,” eastern Kentucky native Larry Cordle Bluegrass musician concerts, workshops and bluegrass jam sessions in VAknows how to masterfully weave his mountain upbringing and the virtues and vices of the common man into a song. “Lady of Tradition,” Lorraine Jordan and Carolina Road’s songs keep climbing the bluegrass charts but are even better live. “The Craft of Songwriting” Performance-Talk (small theater).
