Lots of activities and things to see including sheep shearing, cornmeal making, beekeeping, pawpaws, buttermaking, cooking demonstrations, information on southern apples, clothes washing demonstration, heritage toys, storytelling, gardening, farm chores, crosscut sawing, spring cleaning, children's games, learn about rare breeds of farm animals, wagon rides, basketmaking, and MUCH MORE! Music provided by.. 11:00-12:00 The Zephyr Lightning Bolts 12:00-12:30-The Fairview Methodist Church Choir 12:30-1:15-The Almost Irish Band 1:15-2:15-The Mabe Brothers and Friends 2:15-3:00-The Almost Irish Band 3:00-4:00-The Snow Creek Old Tyme Band The Virginia Reel will be conoducted at different intervals throughout the day with audience participation. Concessions will be available for a nominal fee including pintos and cornbread, fried pies, and beverages. $3.00 donation requested per person attending and funds will go to support the continued development of Horne Creek Farm and its non-profit, The North Carolina Living Historical Farm Committee, Inc.
